Very few cars have managed to change the automotive world like the Miura. With its central engine and fascinating bodywork designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, Lamborghini redefined the concept of the Super Car in 1966. Skeptical about the possibility of selling a large quantity of this sports car, Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to produce it on a small scale. Between 1966 and 1969, 275 models of the 350 HP Miura were manufactured and it was not until 1969 that its evolution was launched on the market, the 370 HP Miura S.

Having become a legend with the Miura and Miura S models since the start of their production in 1966, Ferruccio Lamborghini surprised the world in the spring of 1971 with the new Super Car Countach LP 500.

Because demand for the Miura was still high and preparations were still underway.

In progress for mass production of the Countach LP 500, the company has decided to present the evolution of the Miura, the SV model, with its wider and extensively redesigned mudguard 385 HP engine with separate lubrication systems for the engine and gearbox.

The last Miura SV was delivered on January 15, 1973 to the car manufacturer’s son Ferdinando Innocenti.
